Always looking for innovative ideas and creative solutions, VMS first started using RRVs to assist with de-vegetation works back in 2018. With their extended reach, ability to remove large quantities of material and the ability to transport large amounts of equipment, they have helped to revolutionise how we as a company are able to react to even the biggest and most complex of rail related works.
Traditionally all vegetation removed from lineside management works, would have to be managed at location – with the help of RRVs we can now remove this work from the track side and process the material well away from the most dangerous areas. Making the job safer and reducing the risk of late hand back to even more manageable levels.
